How currency is figured
Each note gets placed by series and type, weighed against how many survive, then adjusted for condition. Certificates, national issues, and star notes usually carry a premium, while ordinary later notes often sit near face unless something sets them apart.
Condition swings the number hard. A note that was never folded can be worth several times the same note carrying a crease, a stain, or a pinhole, which is why nothing here gets folded, pressed, or written on.
